Established more than 100 years ago and operating under its current family ownership across three generations since 1958, Bancker is a full-service utility construction firm specializing in heavy civil and utility construction. History
The name Bancker has symbolized quality utility construction since the early 1920’s. Up to and throughout the 1960s, Bancker concentrated its work in water mains, sewer construction, pumping stations, and treatment plants. During the 1970’s, Bancker expanded its focus into the emerging areas of telephone cable and electrical conduit work. In the ‘80s and’90s, Bancker further broadened its operations into gas main work, horizontal jacking and boring, cable television line and maintenance of underground conduit systems. Bancker has expanded its focus over the past 30 years to include multi-faceted site work, concrete construction, paving, industrial plant maintenance, trenchless installation techniques, and electrical and environmental construction in support of our major utility construction services. Throughout its history, Bancker has responded to evolving technologies and market demand as dictated by our customers.
Bancker has been owned and operated by the Beyer family since 1958, when Harvey Beyer and Harold Cahn purchased the company from A.G. Bancker. It is an honor and a privilege for the Beyer family to run the business and lead our talented and dedicated team with the principles that have defined Bancker for over 100 years: integrity, proficiency, reliability, and respect.
